Thanks A Billion
Science teachers in the US collectively spend over $1B of their own money on school supplies for their classrooms and students. DoSomething.org teamed up with 3M in a student-led campaign thanking these teachers by giving back. We developed a design system that allowed for flexibility and uniqueness while ensuring a consistent look and feel throughout. A bright color palette, simple illustration style, and simple icon set tied creative throughout. We expanded beyond the system when we illustrated each asset to fit the profiles of the student highlighted.

Students across the nation wrote letters to their favorite science teachers thanking them for their hard work and willingness to give. The campaign provided $50,000 in grants to science classrooms.
